The most in-depth (and ultimately most expensive) of the three books, this one is probably most appropriate for those who own many bettas and have a high degree of interest in breeding bettas.

It gives an impressive amount of information on breeding bettas, and it's section on Betta illnesses is one of the best and most comprehensive I've seen.

The ideal water temperature for your betta's home

What food is best to give your betta and why. Includes information on treats for your betta.

What signs of illness to look for in your betta.

While not as in-depth as An Insider's Guide for Betta Lovers, this is still an amazingly informative book that is perfect for beginners and experienced hobbyists who are not interested in breeding bettas.

Pros: This guide is written by a betta breeder who has more than 20 years experience. The author is also an educator who writes a newsletter on betta care. The included bonus material is excellent. All said, this is an excellent product for it's price.

Cons: As previously stated, this guide is not nearly as comprehensive as Insider's Guide for Betta Lovers, particularly in regards to breeding, selling, and caring for a sick betta.
